The Dapper Dan Barber World Series is one of the barbering industry’s top competitions. With a cornucopia of amazing prizes from the industry’s best brands, alongside the prestige and recognition up for grabs, it’s no wonder that barbers from all over the world battle tooth and nail to be crowned Barber of The Year. 

With 3 categories (Barber of The Year, International Barber of The Year, and Barbershop of The Year) the competition celebrates barbering excellence on a global scale. Thanks to this year’s sponsors, the prize pool is once again full of great prizes including: The Front Cover of Modern Barber, £1500 of Dapper Dan products, a special edition REM Kingsman Barber Chair, £1400 of credit with Nearcut, and a heap of Matakki Scissors & accessories. 

For the first time ever, the competition is holding an audience vote to allow everyone to have their say on who should take the trophy in each category. You’ll be able to vote for your favourite entries via the competition’s website from September 15th. 

If you want to be in with a shot of winning one of this year’s categories, you can enter from July 3rd - September 1st via the competition website (barberoftheyear.co.uk). 

Entering only takes 3 quick and simple steps: 

1. Choose one model, hair type and style that represents who you are as a barber, and where you think men’s styling is heading.
2. Take between one and three photographs of your haircut.
3. Fill out the submission form on the competition website barberoftheyear.co.uk, and upload your images to be judged!
